The International Workshop on Knowledge Transfer Between Business and Academia took place from November 19–21, 2024, in Timișoara, Romania, offering a vibrant platform for dialogue on innovation, research collaboration, and the strategic role of higher education institutions in bridging the academic and business worlds.
The event featured a dedicated agenda highlighting the achievements of the INRS project (Developing Information and Research Skills for Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship), including practical outcomes, curriculum integration, and best practices in information literacy and research skills development.
A special session focused on transferring good practices from INRS to a new international initiative involving universities from India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, demonstrating the project’s scalability and international relevance.
The workshop was held in conjunction with two key events:
Erasmus Open Doors, celebrating international cooperation and mobility in education;
The International Scientific Symposium “Young Researchers and Scientific Research in Life Sciences,” which brought together early-career scientists and academics from various disciplines.
This multi-faceted gathering not only enhanced the visibility of the INRS project but also opened new avenues for global collaboration, reinforcing the project’s impact in fostering innovation and knowledge exchange across borders.
