INRS Multiplier Event Held in Dublin: Fostering Knowledge Transfer and Innovation

On 6–7 November 2024, the INRS Multiplier Event took place at the Conference Room, Dublin City Library and Archive, bringing together consortium partners, librarians, researchers, and academic professionals for two days of engaging discussion and knowledge exchange.
Organized as part of the Erasmus+ INRS Project – Developing Information and Research Skills for Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship – the event highlighted the project’s progress and impact, while also opening the floor to insightful presentations from guest keynote speakers and experts.
The agenda included presentations from members of the INRS consortium, as well as inspiring guest contributions:
Peter Reilly, Learning & Engagement Librarian at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, delivered an engaging talk on “Applying Creativity to My Work and Teaching as Learning & Engagement Librarian.”
Aoife Coffey, Research Data Coordinator at University College Cork, presented on the evolving role of data professionals and strategies for effective data stewardship.
Professor Angela Repanovici from Transilvania University of Brașov, Romania, gave a keynote titled “Bridging the Gap: Enhancing Competencies of Information Specialists for Effective Knowledge Transfer from Academia to Business in the EU.”
The Multiplier Event served as a vital platform to share tools, methodologies, and results of the INRS curriculum, aimed at empowering information specialists with the skills needed to bridge academia and industry.
With dynamic exchanges and thought-provoking discussions, the event not only celebrated the INRS project’s achievements but also strengthened the community of professionals committed to innovation and research support across Europe.
